A city without fossil fuels

Monaco banned fossil fuel vehicles in 2018, creating a transport void. An electric cab company partnered with MediaAgility to address gaps in the system. The terrain's geography made roads impractical, so the vision included promoting public elevators, e-scooters, and other facilities while encouraging cab sharing.

Point to point, across every mode

Allowing users to book a complete point to point transport, which may use multiple vehicles and changeovers. Also, the goal was to make people aware of the facilities available for transport.

From sprint to shipped prototype

Brainstorming with Bolt

A rapid solution technique based on GV Sprint was created, with the designer serving as moderator, BA, and designer. User flows were plotted and critical sections identified.

Critical objectives

Guide users to appropriate public transport, overcoming language barriers

Display all options clearly for quick, informed decisions

All participants created concepts; the decision-maker selected the winner.

User Personas

Three representative users were defined to anchor design decisions throughout the sprint.

Prototype & Testing

The winning concept was prototyped and tested. Upon successful completion of critical tasks without errors, development expanded into a full app delivered to the client.

The first approved prototype of the app was ready within 3 days.

The Impact

The platform was estimated to reduce fossil fuel usage by 20–30%. It was described as the first ever platform to integrate all forms of transport including electric scooters and elevators — essential infrastructure for the country after the fossil fuel ban.
